Why the sudden closure? If I don’t make this abrupt move, with my passion for the hobbies (mad on model kits, Gundam, Macross etc…), unlikely it will end, just like earlier two attempts which had failed. It’s a very hard decision but need to do so because it’s taking quite a bit of my time and effort, I need to refocus on my family. Also to prevent further losses due to the increasing high Yen exchange rate, I need to forgo this online shop hobby.
It it some time not the issue of whether the business is profiting or not, business can still carry on even if it just break even or at a slight loss because to me it is a hobby not a business. Nevertheless, it is sometime very disappointing and discouraging and not worth the time and effort especially when you encounter some unappreciative customers. Of course, there are also some fantastic regular customers, really hope that I can continue to help them in their continuous pursue in their collection of model kits and toys/collectibles.
